Virtual Worship for the First Sunday of Christmas 2026

Greetings Siblings in Christ!

We are excited to share with you all that we will be creating a pre-recorded post-Christmas virtual worship service again this year! It is designed for use on Sunday, December 28, 2026.

We, the Synod of the Covenant, recognize the hard and fruitful work of pastors, musicians, and worship teams during the season of advent and we hope this virtual service will be a gift of Sabbath for all of you. We will make the virtual worship service available on our website (synodoftheconvenent.org) along with a downloadable bulletin by December 18, 2026. Church leaders may use this worship service to be viewed together with their congregation or individuals for the Sunday worship services following Christmas. We know this is a notoriously difficult time for congregations to find pulpit supply, and so we offer this virtual service to all.

The worship service will feature our first graduating cohort of the Cultivating the Gift of Preaching Program, CREs serving throughout the Synod, and special guest musicians! We are excited to showcase all the gifted leaders serving within the bounds of the Synod, and we pray this virtual worship will be a blessing.
