Welcome to our first CRE Spotlight!

Keith Schroedor serves First Presbyterian Church Menominee, MI in the Presbytery of Mackinac. Keith originally served the Lutheran Church before entering the teaching profession. He has been with several school districts with a majority of his time spent in the Marinette WI school district serving as their Librarian and Personalized Learning Specialist. Keith’s favorite part of serving as pastor is “Helping reveal the teachings of the Bible to eager hearts.”
Currently, Keith is working on two large ministries for the community. First is an are ecumenical youth group. Spearheaded by Pastor Keith of First Presbyterian, this is an ecumenical youth group that serves a broad area with 6 area churches of different denominations in fellowship with the Presbyterian Church. This ecumenical youth group was established to unite young people from different Christian traditions to grow in faith, build friendships, and serve together as one body in Christ. This mission of the youth group is to promote Chrisitan unity, deepen faith in Christ, build relationships across congregations, serve the community together, and develop future Christian leaders.
The second ministry is a Community Day of Healing: Worship, Renewal, and Equipping for Life’s Wounds. The day includes workshops led by a variety of community health and healing practitioners and making biblical connections to healing. The worship and prayer service “invites God's presence and power into our lives.” Keith’s hope for the Community Day of Healing is that it will foster “a renewed, spiritually vibrant, emotionally healthy community empowered to carry the healing presence of Christ into every sphere of life.”
Thank you, Keith, for your faithful service in the Presbytery of Mackinac!
