Explore how storytelling can deepen the impact of sermons and faith messages. Co-led by a preacher and a storytelling educator, the session blends theological insight with narrative craft, helping participants shape meaningful, memorable stories through structure, voice, and presence. Whether drawn from scripture or lived experience, well-told stories can reveal truth, build connection, and breathe life into the Word.
Laura is an Associate Professor of English at Alma College, where she teaches courses that explore the power of story in shaping human experience, from the stories that shaped the rise of the United States to the oral traditions of indigenous people to the stories we tell ourselves about every day events.
