Preaching Justice with Pictures

Art is all around us and is a reflection of the people and culture in which it originates. In this workshop, preachers will learn to exegete photographs while using them as the primary texts for their sermons. Photographs will also be tied to lectionary texts.

Rev. Dr. Debra J. Mumford is the Vice President of Academics, Dean of the Seminary and Professor of Homiletics at Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. She has taught preaching for 20 years and enjoys equipping busy preachers with the tools they need to develop relevant and engaging sermon.
