About the event
This workshop invites participants into a gentle exploration of how racial and generational trauma shape our lives—often in ways we do not immediately see. Together, we will reflect on how inherited stories and collective wounds influence how we relate to one another, build community, and experience worship. Rather than approaching trauma as something distant or clinical, we will name the ways it lives in our bodies, relationships, and shared spaces.
With care and curiosity, we will consider practices that help us grow in awareness, compassion, and responsibility toward one another. This is not about having all the right answers, but about learning to notice, listen more deeply, and participate in communities where healing becomes more possible. Participants will leave with language, guiding questions, and simple practices to support more attentive and life-giving ways of being together.
