Advent Blessings to you all!
I wanted to take some time and share some new training workshops we are developing for Commissioned Ruling Elders (CREs)/Commissioned Pastors (CPs) 2025!
We are planning a series of 6 workshops though out the year, hosted on Zoom. These workshops will be approximately 3 hours in length, free of charge, but will require registration.
A schedule of the workshops will be sent through our CRE/CP email list and on the Synod of the Covenant website, along with registration links.
As a preview, we are currently developing workshops in:
Leadership lead by Dr. Robert McManus, Executive Director of Graduate Business and Applied Leadership at Muskingum University.
Emotional Intelligence lead by Rev. Kimberly, pastor of First Presbyterian in Saline, MI and trainer with the Center for Emotional Intelligence and Human Relations Training.
Small Group Communication & Dynamics lead by your truly, Tim Pollock (ABD Communication Studies), CRE Coordinate of the Synod of the Covenant.
For each area listed above, we will offer two different aspects, for a total of 6 workshops!
Be sure to watch for news and updates if you are interested in participating! If you have any questions, please contact me at tim@synodofthecovenant.org
Blessings and Peace!
