2012 Summer Staff: Supervisor Chelsea, Luke, Megan, Brendan, Julie and Mike
Chelsea just finished her fourth year at Michigan State University (Go Green!) however is doing a victory lap and will graduate next spring. Her major is Biomedical Laboratory Sciences. Chelsea is a member of the MSU Softball team, Spartan Ski Club and the Sigma Alpha Agriculture Sorority. She was on the Mobile Health Fair team two years ago and is excited to be back.
Luke is currently a sophomore at Ohio State University majoring in pre-pharmacy. It is his hope to attend pharmacy school after his senior year at OSU. Luke enjoys everything soccer related as well aLs the Browns, Indians, Cavaliers, OSU football and OSU basketball. Luke is looking forward to the adventures that the MHF will bring this summer!
Megan attends John Carroll University in Cleveland. She just finished her freshman year majoring in Biology with a minor in Public Health. Megan is also trained as an Emergency Medical Technician and serves JCU in that capacity during the school year. Her hope is to attend medical school with a focus in epidemiology, infectious disease or emergency room medicine. Megan's hobbies include music and sports (soccer, hockey and college football). She is looking forward to being more involved in the health fairs this summer.
Brendan has just graduated from Bellevue High School and is excited about beginning a new adventure at Marietta College in the fall. He sill be pursuing degrees in Biology and Spanish while playing football for Marietta. His dream is to use these degrees in the medical field one day. Brendan enjoys water parks, the beach , movies, and every genre of music except for country! He is looking forward to serving others with the Mobile Health Fair Ministry this summer.
Julie will be a senior this fall at Alma College studying Integrative Physiology and Health Science with a minor in Chemistry with a pre-med emphasis. She is working to become a physician in the fields of dermatology or family practice. Julie is actively involved with cheerleading, research and her sorority. She enjoys being entertained but enjoys her hobby of cooking. With her classes, Julie was involved in health fairs so is anxious to apply the same concepts to a general population in Ohio and Michigan.
Mike is a sophomore at Ohio State University studying Pharmaceutical Sciences. His dream is to attend pharmacy school and work as a pharmacist. Does any of this sound repetitious?? Look at the picture...Mike and Luke are identical twins! Mike also enjoys everything soccer as well as the Cleveland and OSU sport teams. We will be in trouble if they switch medical scrubs!! Mike is looking forward to the Mobile Health Fair team adventure this summer!
