Peacemaking Scholarships

• May provide assistance up to $500
• Used for programs, conferences or seminars that are related to peacemaking and held within the U.S.
• Source of funds is the annual PC(USA) Peacemaking Offering, of which the Synod of the Covenant receives a portion

• Intergenerational Peacemaking Conference – 3 scholarships
• Anti-Racism Core Training (Detroit) – 5 scholarships
• Presbyterian Transformation and Multicultural Conference – 2 scholarships

Presbytery Grants Awarded in 2005

• Western Reserve - peace and justice ministries in Greater Cleveland area and South Africa
• Maumee - Reconciliation/Mediation Leadership Training and Supporting “Seeds of Peace,” a program for youth
• Mackinac - International Missionary in Residence for Presbytery Point camp
